This weekend’s game against the Montreal Irish II was another rout for the senior women’s side.  The ladies on the field put on a demonstration of both individual skill and team play towards a 67-0 result on the hottest game day of the year so far.

An excellent new addition to the side, Steph Buchan put in an impressive performance in her first appearance for the club. The experienced Flyhalf/scrum half pairing of Erin Middleton and Liz Majeau tore apart the Irish’s defence, gaining hardest worker and man of the match honours in the process. Another stand-out performance was provided by Kim Goodwin, who’s support play was superb throughout and who was robbed of a well deserved try in the closing minutes of the game.

An excellent showing all around and good ground work for the upcoming play-offs.

MVP: Liz Majeau
Hardest Worker: Erin Middleton.
