MEN

The men rolled out to Montreal to take on St. Lambert with fewer numbers than we would have preferred (Boots and Hearts – you’re on notice). This just meant that everyone got their share of opportunity to work hard in two grinding losses. Credit goes to the men for playing to the very end, which included a try on the final play of the firsts game.

WOMEN

The banshees played their last season game this weekend and unfortunately lost to RCM 22-0.

MVP: Jen Huntley for amazing tackles (two never got up again) and incredible coaching all season long!

Hardest Worker: Amy Lewis with honorable mention to the entire team for playing in the heat with 1 sub!

The girls will have a bye on August 13 and potentially semi-finals on August 20th (time and location TBD)

JUNIOR BEAVERS

The Junior Beavers had their first loss of the season against the Blues on July 28. The boys played an intensely physical game against a very skilled opposition, and they deserve serious credit for standing tall until the final whistle.

Big thanks to all the seniors that came out to cheer the boys on – we had a bigger cheering section than the home team!

Men of the Match: Byrne/Quinn
Hardest Worker: Matt Luc

Beav Nation returns to the pitch August 13 against Beaconsfield in Montreal.
