The Beavers and Banshees are proudly announcing that they will be hosting a rugby tournament on Labour Day weekend 2017.

It’s from the same folks that brought you the 2016 Border Bowl at TD Place, so you know it’s going to be outrageous fun.

Rugby clubs from all around will be invited to come celebrate Canada’s 150th birthday at Twin Elm for the Tens and Tents Rugby Tournament.

This rugby 10s tournament will take place over two days, and participants will be encouraged to pitch a tent and stay the night on TERP’s back fields.

Too old/broken to compete in the tournament, but still want to participate? Rugby Canada will also be hosting a referee course on the Saturday morning, so participants can also spend the weekend test-driving their new officiating skills at the tournament, and participate in the Tens and Tents festivities.

Even though it doesn’t take place until the end of the summer, we are spreading the word early to give everyone a heads up that it’s coming. And we’ll be needing members of the OBBRFC to volunteer.

Stay tuned for more updates, or drop by for more info.
