The Beavers took on the Carleton University Men’s team on November 11 for a post-season friendly (and we rolled in a bunch of Carleton alumni to our roster to give ’em a kick at their old alma mater).

After taking a moment of silence together in honour of Remembrance Day, the two teams squared off in a hard-fought and quite frosty game of rugby.

Carleton won by about 35-25, and good fun was had by all. Plus there was a delicious chili  cook after the game, which compliments below-zero rugby quite well.

We’d also like to give a shout out to everyone (both Carleton and OBBRFC members) who spent their time out at TERP on Saturday giving a hand to some of the cleanup operations to help close Twin Elm for the winter.

It was a great end to the year!!
