Both Junior teams started their season last week, which means the OBBRFC is fully up and running for the summer.

The Junior Banshees opened their season with a game against the Ottawa Irish, who unfortunately could only field 10 players. We will always play some rugby, though, so the girls played some 10s.

The Junior Beavers also played their first game in a roadie to St-Anne-de-Bellevue. It was valiant and close fight to the end, but the Beavs were unable to secure a W.

The Beavers 2nd XV hosted the Mont Tremblant RFC on a very (very, very) hot afternoon. It was a close match and the Beavers played some great rugby – dominating scrums, stealing lineouts, etc – but a few quick tries from Mont Tremblant sealed it.
